Adult Sunday School
The Beaty-Gray Class is a fun-loving group of 53 active "Young at Heart" seniors (12 of whom are charter members of Riverside Methodist Church) who follow the Adult Bible Studies based on the International Series for Christian teaching. Different teachers serve on a rotation basis using lecture and/or discussion methods. Class members are dedicated to the care and nurturing of each other, and of thier inactive members. Long-term major project is financial support of the International Nurses Scholorship Fund, a program which trains persons from third world countries, who then return to help the people of their native lands. The class meets in room C-17.

The Woodruff Class is composed of eighty five happy Christians between the ages of 50 to 80. The group is a good mix of couples and singles. The class uses the Methodist International Lesson Series format in a lecture/discussion format. Quarterly films also supplement the curriculum. The class is extremely active both in the church and in the community. Current projects include Bibles for third grade students, support for Rebuilding Macon activities, prayer shawls for those in need, sponsorship of a yearly college scholarship, support for needy families and periodic shut-in visits during holiday times. The class has also expanded its internal activities to include weekly, monthly and quarterly dinners for added fellowship. The class meets in Room C-13 on the lower level of the Fellowship Hall Building.
The Roundtable Class is predominately older adults who meet each Sunday in conference room B-5. We use the Adult Bible Studies curriculum. Don Johstono leads this very informal group and encourages class discussion and participation. Part of our weekly offering goes to Macon Outreach. We support this ministry as members of the $.37 Club. The recommended contribution is $.37 per class member, per month. We double this suggested amount. For the past three years, our small class has given $500 each year toward the Conference Askings Fund. We are an open minded, caring group and welcome newcomers.
BBC - Bold Believers in Christ
The BBC (Bold Believers in Christ) class is composed of Christ-centered adults with a passion for learning from God's Word and supporting each other in identifying and applying His Will in their lives. In general terms, the group is composed of both singles and married couples, who may be meeting the challenge of raising children of varied ages. As a class, we honor God by preemptively viewing each member as a child of God embarked on a wonderfully unique Walk of Faith. We feel that the roles we play in society, as well as at home, appropriately follow afterwards. The class values the dynamic experiences found in open discussion and small group study while cherishing the friendships formed through Christian fellowship. The class meets in room C-12.
The Seekers Class is an adult Sunday School class of approximately 20 members who seek to strengthen their faith and relationship with God through studying God's Word. The class is made up of singles and couples of various ages in the range of 40 to 60+ and young at heart. The class teacher leads studies that always include lively discussion on various topics relating to Christian spiritual growth and our daily walk with God. The lessons are always scripture based, and members are encouraged to bring their Bibles. We meet in room C-14 on the lower level of the Fellowship Hall. The class also enjoys social gatherings and Christian friendships outside of the Sunday School setting. If you are seeking a deeper relationship with God and great Christian friends, then our class is for you - we would welcome new members and/or visitors any Sunday.
